colourbox art therapy
Art psychotherapy can help people with a wide range of issues
•Improving health and well being and building self-esteem
•Addressing emotional difficulties, anxiety, depression, burn-out, phobias
•Helping develop ways to cope with life events, illness, injury, bereavement, trauma
•Facilitating personal insight and self awareness and working towards making changes.
•Sometimes it’s hard to say exactly what’s amiss – things just don’t feel ‘right’.
“In an introductory meeting,
you can talk through
what has been happening
for you, and think about
whether art psychotherapy can help.”
Julia Vaughan - founder
Colourbox is based in a confidential space in Wirksworth, in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales.
This is a roomy, bright, comfortable and safe space with lots of scope for talking and making.
Offering individual, one to one sessions and small group workshops, working with adults, young people and families.
COVID 19
Currently, clients are only offered online sessions using zoom.
This way of working can facilitate a good therapeutic experience leading to significant therapeutic benefits.
I’ve undertaken training in online therapy and am continuing further training in this way of working.
For the time being there isn’t any face to face art therapy. I’ll update this notice as soon as that changes.
Please feel free to contact me to discuss any issues or questions about this.
